About The Event
This 20th Annual West Branch of the Susquehanna Wild Canoe/Kayak River Race will take place on May 1, 2021. In 2005, the West Branch of the Susquehanna River was named “River of the Year”. Seven years later, National Geographic named it one of the “Best Adventure Destinations” in the world. This will be your chance to paddle the most scenic section of this river.
The river run will start at the Rolling Stone Bridge just outside of Kylertown, Pa at 11 am and finish at the Karthaus Bridge in Karthaus, Pa. The river will be about 11 miles in length. This event may change due to water conditions.
Rules and Regulations:
1. Open Canoes will be categorized as “Standard” or “Unlimited” based on hull material.
2. Decking for open canoes is limited to 36” bow & stern.
